TL;DR

Head of Field & Events Marketing (Fintech): Scaling the third-party events channel to drive pipeline and revenue across new industries and markets with an accent on strategic investment and team leadership. Focus on building scalable operating models, optimizing budget allocation, and implementing AI-driven workflows for event targeting.

Location: Hybrid in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA. Relocation support is available to these cities.

Compensation: $162,000 – $223,000 Base Salary + Equity

What you will do

  • Define the strategic investment direction and operating framework for third-party events.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of event marketers, setting clear expectations and development paths.
  • Own aggregate pipeline goals and drive measurable revenue impact across new industries and geographies.
  • Manage the total program budget and partner with Finance on planning and forecasting.
  • Develop reporting infrastructure and operating rhythms to ensure the program scales efficiently.
  • Implement AI and automation tools to improve team efficiency and event targeting.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or demand generation within a B2B company.
  • Proven track record of driving significant, measurable pipeline and revenue impact through large-scale event programs.
  • Deep experience owning third-party event portfolios end-to-end, from strategy to performance measurement.
  • Experience hiring, developing, and retaining strong teams of marketing professionals.
  • Executive-level stakeholder management skills and strong financial acumen for budget ownership.
  • Must be based in or be able to relocate to New York, NY or San Francisco, CA.

Nice to have

  • Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS or fintech company.
  • Experience building event programs specifically targeting mid-market and enterprise customers.
  • History of launching event strategies in new verticals or geographies.
  • Demonstrated use of AI or automation to improve marketing workflows.
