TL;DR

Computer Operator I (Gaming): Monitoring and supporting data center equipment and systems for lottery jurisdictions with an accent on system stability and 24/7 operational continuity. Focus on executing operational checklists, performing entry-level troubleshooting of servers and IP networks, and ensuring logical security.

Location: Onsite in Austin, TX. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

Salary: $21–$22 per hour

What you will do

  • Provide 24/7 monitoring and entry-to-intermediate level support for operating equipment across one or more jurisdictions.
  • Conduct analysis of host systems, middleware, applications, and existing operational tools.
  • Monitor logical security and identify/resolve network technology issues associated with IP devices and backbone transports.
  • Execute and verify operational checklists for draw processing, day-end processing, system balancing, and file maintenance.
  • Coordinate and address internal and external customer requests according to established guidelines.
  • Submit recommendations for the creation and maintenance of operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Two-year college degree or 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic knowledge of multiple operating systems and applications (network, system, and servers).
  • Ability to perform entry-level troubleshooting of host systems, middleware, and network services.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
