What you will do
- Provide frontline technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Perform physical installation, rack and stack, cabling, and networking of data center hardware.
- Monitor and maintain data center infrastructure for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Travel up to 50% to customer sites and data centers.
Requirements
- Location: Must be able to commute to Jersey City office and work onsite during standard hours
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 1+ year experience servicing complex X86 systems and customer support.
- Strong hardware diagnostics skills including BIOS, drivers, and application issues.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to lift/carry at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods in noisy environments.
