Field Engineer I (Gaming Systems)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma, United States. Work is performed in offices, customer sites, and lab environments, with travel of up to 75% and exposure to active casino gaming floors.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned customer sites.
• Plan and complete software installations, upgrades, and hardware configurations.
• Troubleshoot software, firmware, hardware, server, database, and networking issues.
• Develop and manage project plans for timely implementation.
• Provide post-installation technical support and document processes and reports.
• Coordinate with collaborators to meet regulatory and operational requirements.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant technical experience.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization, networking, database administration, and enterprise networking technologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Must be eligible to acquire relevant gaming licenses, including Tribal Gaming Licenses.

Nice to have

• Experience with clustered servers, Kubernetes or other containers, and SAN environments.
• Technical certifications such as A+, Network+, Microsoft, or Cisco.
• Experience in casino or gaming environments.
