Senior Data Center Network Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Data Center Network Engineer (Cisco ACI/Nexus): Design, document, deploy, and operate data center network solutions across the full lifecycle with an accent on Cisco ACI & Nexus, Radware load balancers, and spine-leaf architectures. Focus on building reliable, scalable, high-performance enterprise networks, solving complex network issues, and validating changes through failover/performance testing while supporting 24x7 on-call operations.

What you will do

• Design, document, deploy, and manage data center network solutions across lifecycle phases for Cisco ACI & Nexus and Radware load balancers.
• Support infrastructure and deployment projects across multiple regions and locations.
• Partner with hardware, software, and vendor teams to deliver data center network solutions.
• Implement global security and operational best practices and follow IT Controls and IT Service Management processes.
• Work with application support and operations to plan changes and minimize technical/business impact.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex enterprise data center network problems; participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite 5 days a week in Peoria, IL; Dallas, TX; or Nashville, TN
• Extensive experience designing, deploying, and operating large-scale enterprise networks.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience in physical and cloud-integrated data center network environments.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus switches (NX-OS) and Cisco ACI.
• Network validation/testing experience (failover testing, performance benchmarking, change validation).
• Cisco CCNA (or equivalent) and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
