Salary: $100,000 - $140,000

What you will do

• Define and implement the NextGen Network according to industry standards and best practices.
• Rethink NBC's global edge and campus network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and derive technical solutions.
• Serve as a technical resource and provide guidance to other Operations & Technology teams.
• Participate in an on-call support escalation rotation for 24x7 production on-air network infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting enterprise network firewalls, remote access solutions, load balancers, routers, and switches.
• 3+ years of experience leading network initiatives and documenting network security requirements.
• Expertise in high-availability designs, including Dual-ISP, first-hop redundancy, geo-diverse failover, and cloud availability zones.
• Advanced routing and switching experience with BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EVPN-VxLAN, and MPLS.
• Must be based in or able to commute to the Centennial, CO office for a hybrid work schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cisco and/or Arista Networks.
• Palo Alto Networks PCNSE/PCCSE certification or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of network and cloud security concepts and best practices.
