TL;DR
Account Manager (Edtech): Deepening partnerships with K-12 school districts to secure renewals and expansions of mental health services with an accent on strategic account growth and revenue retention. Focus on developing a scalable renewal playbook, negotiating complex contracts with district leadership, and driving cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
Location: Remote (US). Preference for location in the Southern US and ability to work EST or CST hours. Regional travel required 1-3x per quarter.
Compensation: $115,000 - $135,000 base, $145,000 - $168,000 OTE

What you will do
- Develop and own the best practice approach for securing contract renewals and expansions.
- Forecast and manage the renewal and expansion pipeline, identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales and Success teams to ensure a smooth handoff during implementation.
- Nurture relationships across school districts with Superintendents and Student Services to ensure broad sponsorship.
- Lead contract negotiations with district leadership and procurement teams, advising on funding sources.
- Share learnings and feedback with colleagues to continuously improve team performance.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of sales and/or account management experience specifically within K-12 education.
- Expertise in the full-stack sales and renewal motion, including pipeline management and closing.
- Proven ability to build authentic, trusting relationships and handle objections creatively.
- Experience negotiating pricing, deal constructs, timelines, and incentives.
- Ability to thrive in a rapid-growth startup environment and prioritize outcomes.
- Must provide valid work authorization for the US (E-Verify participant).
