What you will do
- Formulate and execute a vertically aligned technical sales strategy for the financial services sector.
- Lead, mentor, and enable a team of Principal Architects to ensure high-quality presales and delivery.
- Act as a technical leadership liaison for strategic accounts, participating in account planning and executive-level engagements.
- Drive discovery workshops to understand customer IT landscapes and define future-state architectures.
- Collaborate with sales and delivery engineering leadership to ensure risk-managed solutions and successful project staffing.
- Evangelize technical excellence and emerging technologies, including AI and cloud-native frameworks, across client organizations.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 13+ years of relevant experience, with 10+ years in architecture, design, or consulting in digital/cloud technologies.
- Proven expertise within the Financial Services (FinSrv) industry.
- 5+ years of domain experience in application development, modernization, or data platforms.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- 4+ years of experience in consultative presales.
Nice to have
- Experience in leadership or player-coach roles.
- AWS Solution Architecture certifications.
- Experience with AI solutions, including LLMs and GenAI.
- Experience delivering microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Comfort leading CIO/CTO level presentations and whiteboard sessions.
