TL;DR
Principal Solutions Architect (AI): Defining cloud migration, application modernization, and scalable digital solution architectures with an accent on Azure, distributed systems, identity, data platforms, and AI-enabled delivery. Focus on designing secure and resilient systems, optimizing SQL and cloud infrastructure, establishing architecture governance, and leading technical decisions across distributed engineering teams.
Location: Uruguay; remote or hybrid work options are available.

What you will do
- Define technical roadmaps and architecture strategies for cloud migration, application modernization, and scalable digital solutions.
- Own end-to-end solution architecture decisions and support application design and delivery using C#, .NET, .NET Core, Web APIs, and Microsoft Azure.
- Design secure authentication and authorization solutions with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Define backend services, API contracts, integration patterns, data architectures, and controls for distributed and event-driven systems.
- Establish architecture governance, reusable onboarding patterns, technical standards, and operational readiness across Agile teams.
- Lead design reviews, mentor engineers, evaluate architecture tradeoffs, and influence technical direction and investment decisions.
Requirements
- Consultative problem-solving skills and the ability to align digital solutions with long-term client business goals.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools or a strong willingness to experiment with and champion AI adoption.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, project oversight, and technical deliverable execution.
- Experience with cloud architecture, application modernization, secure coding, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and maintainable design practices.
- Ability to lead, mentor, motivate, present, coach, and collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a commitment to continuous learning.
Nice to have
- Claude Certified Developer or Architect certification.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js, React, or Angular.
- Experience with Bicep, Helm, GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, monitoring, and logging tools.
