What you will do

• Provide disciplinary and technical leadership to the procurement team, mentoring staff and managing resource allocation.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for non-production goods and R&D prototype materials.
• Lead high-stakes negotiations for R&D contracts, pricing, and framework agreements with strategic suppliers.
• Oversee the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from supplier qualification to purchase order management.
• Optimize digital procurement processes and tools, including Oracle NetSuite and Jira integration.
• Serve as the primary interface for internal stakeholders in R&D, Finance, and IT to resolve supply chain bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering.
• Several years of experience in strategic procurement with a proven leadership track record.
• Fluency in both German and English is required.
• Profound knowledge of supply chain processes, including forecasting, material planning, and bottleneck troubleshooting.
• Exceptional contract negotiation skills and experience managing supplier performance.
• Ability to work in a structured, independent, and goal-oriented manner within a fast-paced environment.
