Procurement Specialist - Manufacturing Equipment (m/f/d) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead sourcing strategies for the Equipment Parts & Services category across the Hamburg and Manchester manufacturing sites.
• Manage relationships with approximately 100 key suppliers and act as the commercial interface for up to 500 suppliers.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and site teams to define requirements and identify value-creation opportunities.
• Conduct market and spend analysis and lead complex negotiations with international, cross-functional teams.
• Manage supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, technology, and service.
• Draft and manage supplier contracts, lead global sourcing projects, and improve procurement tools and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience participating in or leading cross-site commodity and international procurement projects.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, teamwork, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with SAP, Ariba, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of procurement experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• MCIPS qualification or substantial progress toward it.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• German-speaking ability.
