What you will do

• Collaborate with Ground Systems engineering and construction teams to define procurement requirements for test sites and launch pad projects.
• Source and purchase specialized materials, equipment, and services for design, construction, and commissioning of Ground Systems infrastructure.
• Work with the Sr. Strategic Buyer (GSE) to leverage supplier relationships, negotiated contracts, and technical expertise.
• Lead project-specific procurement activities to ensure timely delivery, quality, and compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and manage procurement schedules aligned with project milestones; negotiate supplier and contractor terms for optimal cost, quality, and delivery.
• Administer procurement documentation (purchase orders, contracts, invoices), monitor budgets/expenditures, and manage risks for supply, logistics, and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project-based procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in construction, engineering, or technical infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
• Familiarity with construction materials and technical equipment/services relevant to ground systems or industrial infrastructure.
• Effective communication skills in English (written and spoken); German or other relevant languages are a plus.
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP procurement systems and MS Office.
