What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical authority on ASC 606 and GAAP revenue accounting.
• Own the end-to-end monthly and quarterly revenue close process and flux analysis.
• Partner with Sales and Deal Desk to provide real-time guidance on contract negotiations and revenue implications.
• Oversee SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness for the revenue cycle.
• Prepare revenue-related disclosures for SEC filings including 10-K and 10-Q.
• Mentor and develop a team of revenue managers and accountants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and active CPA license required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and industry roles at publicly traded companies.
• Deep hands-on expertise in ASC 606, including multi-element arrangements and SaaS subscription models.
• Proven experience managing revenue close processes and SEC disclosure preparation.
• Strong SOX controls experience including design and operating effectiveness testing.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex GAAP issues to C-suite and non-accountant stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with RevPro, Zuora Revenue, or similar revenue management systems.
• Background in media technology or multi-element subscription businesses.
• M&A and integration experience including purchase accounting.
• Familiarity with IFRS 15.
