What you will do

• Design and maintain large-scale distributed systems and microservices using Clojure.
• Set technical direction and align architecture strategies across multiple teams.
• Mentor senior engineers and establish a high technical bar organization-wide.
• Collaborate with Product and Design leaders to build new financial experiences.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines in AWS and manage data with Datomic and DynamoDB.
• Ensure observability and performance monitoring using Prometheus and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in digital product development in complex environments.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies.
• Strong background in functional or object-oriented programming.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives across multiple teams without direct authority.
• Advanced English skills required.
• Must be based in Toronto, Canada.
