What you will do

• Break down complex projects into manageable phases and deliver them in collaboration with team leads and stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems that support ML model training and serving.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to articulate technical constraints and manage trade-offs.
• Create and monitor metrics to ensure the availability and reliability of team artifacts.
• Participate in on-call efforts and support the operational health of production systems.
• Contribute to team growth by participating in the interview process and mentoring peers.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 1.5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
• Proficiency in Python or Kotlin.
• Experience with distributed systems and technologies such as AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to write clear, well-tested, and extensible code.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
