What you will do

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for the Trust Infra team, leading engineers through complex, open-ended problems.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to articulate technical constraints and risks.
• Identify and resolve project, process, and technology issues proactively.
• Maintain operations and availability of infrastructure artifacts via monitoring and on-call support.
• Set and improve code review and design standards to foster a culture of quality and ownership.
• Mentor and develop team talent through feedback and guidance.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing and launching scalable backend systems using Python or Kotlin.
• Proven track record with highly available distributed systems using AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes resource management, Helm charts, and operator patterns.
• Ability to create elegant, simple, and extensible technical plans for significant system components.
• Proficiency in making safe, significant changes within large codebases.
• Must be based in Canada.
