Salary: $130,000 – $160,000

What you will do

• Build cloud-native services using Scala and open-source frameworks such as Akka and ZIO.
• Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests using Scala Test.
• Design performant and intuitive APIs in collaboration with the Investments Product Management team.
• Participate in peer code reviews as part of the standard SDLC and Change Management Process.
• Support clients through system integrations and resolve production issues.

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering.
• 9+ years of experience in web-based application development.
• 2+ years of professional experience with Scala.
• Solid understanding of relational or NoSQL database concepts and modeling practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to software development.
• Must be based in or able to work in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js or Java.
