Social Video Producer (MS NOW): Producing and editing high-impact vertical video content for digital platforms with an accent on political storytelling, rapid breaking news coverage, and audience engagement. Location: Must be based in New York, NY. This position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday weekly.
Salary: $93,000 - $110,000 yearly

What you will do
- Write, edit, and produce multiple vertical videos daily for TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
- Transform linear show segments into viral social video content.
- React rapidly to breaking news to lead the news cycle across digital platforms.
- Produce YouTube livestreams from start to finish.
- Create graphics, carousels, and thumbnails to optimize content performance.
- Collaborate with anchors and reporters to develop original video pitches and social franchises.
Requirements
- Must be based in New York, NY.
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in social media editing, producing, and writing.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere for rapid editing.
- Deep expertise in U.S. politics and strong editorial judgment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including Tuesday-Friday (2pm-10pm) and Saturday (10am-6pm).
Nice to have
- Experience with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva.
- Understanding of digital gear including camera operations and microphones.
- Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter.
