TL;DR

Sales Development Associate (ESG): Driving business growth by identifying and converting leads into sales opportunities with an accent on cold outreach, consultative discovery, and market research. Focus on building a professional network within the ESG and sustainability sectors while managing the full sales funnel in Salesforce.

Location: Must be based in Mexico City (Hybrid model: 8 days per month in office).

What you will do

  • Own the full outreach motion including LinkedIn, email, and cold calling to drive new business revenue.
  • Conduct high-level discovery calls with senior executives to spark interest in ESG solutions.
  • Use consultative questioning to identify high-potential opportunities and qualify leads for Account Executives.
  • Research target accounts and map out key decision-makers to align with the ideal customer profile.
  • Manage all activity in Salesforce to track performance and ensure consistent quota attainment.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop localized call strategies and messaging.

Requirements

  • Full professional proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English is required.
  • University degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Proactive sales-first mindset with strong resilience and ability to navigate objections.
  • Confidence in cold calling and engaging busy decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with modern sales stacks including AI tools, Salesforce, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Must be based in Mexico City and able to attend the office 8 days per month.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in Sustainability, ESG, or CSR industries.
  • Proven track record of over-performing against sales quotas.
