Salary: $128,470 – $208,770

What you will do

• Define and own frontend architecture, including UI frameworks, state management, and application structure.
• Design and deliver tablet-first applications using Angular and Ionic/Capacitor.
• Build interactive, real-time user interfaces to visualize and control autonomous systems.
• Drive performance optimization for responsive, low-latency behavior on mobile and tablet devices.
• Lead technical design reviews and mentor engineers across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with product, UX, backend, and AI/robotics teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to relocate to Chicago, IL, Peoria, IL, Irving, TX, or Broomfield, CO.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (Visa sponsorship is not available).
• 10–15 years of experience in software engineering with strong frontend architecture expertise.
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend design patterns.
• Strong experience with Angular, RxJS, and state management (NgRx).
• Hands-on experience building hybrid mobile applications using Ionic and Capacitor.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating real-time data systems (WebSockets, event-driven architectures).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and backend systems (Node.js).
• Experience with 3D visualization or digital twin platforms.
