What you will do
- Own the design and hands-on development of front-end architecture, UI frameworks, and design systems for the Quick experience.
- Lead the full lifecycle of front-end feature delivery from technical design through implementation, testing, and release.
- Influence decisions on UI tech stack, rendering strategies, and client-side performance to ensure scalable and maintainable UX.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and science partners to translate customer needs into polished, accessible interfaces.
- Write clean, well-tested code and own end-to-end UI quality including unit, component, and integration tests.
- Mentor engineers and interns and actively participate in hiring to raise the performance bar.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience creating prototypes or wireframes for enterprise web applications or workflows.
- 4+ years of professional software development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks such as React, AngularJS, or Vue.
- Must be based in or able to work from Seattle, WA, USA.
Nice to have
- Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.
- Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST.
