Compensation: $210,000 – $250,000

What you will do

• Lead the development and maintenance of the frontend for the core SaaS product.
• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Optimize frontend performance and accessibility across the platform.
• Mentor junior developers and review code contributions from external contractors.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software components to ensure reliability.
• Conduct testing and validation to maintain high standards of software quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a front-end developer.
• Strong proficiency in modern web frameworks, specifically Next.js and React.
• Deep understanding of CSS and TypeScript.
• Experience architecting and designing scalable, performant frontend solutions.
• Proficiency with testing and debugging tools like Jest and Cypress.
• Ability to work on-site in San Mateo, CA several days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS cloud computing platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of enterprise authentication and authorization workflows.
• Experience interacting directly with customers for demos and debugging.
