What you will do

• Provide disciplinary and technical leadership to the procurement team, including mentoring and resource management.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, managing lead times and resolving bottlenecks to prevent production stoppages.
• Drive the identification and implementation of second-source components in coordination with Engineering.
• Oversee the optimization of procurement processes and tools within Oracle NetSuite.
• Act as the primary contact for R&D, Production, and Quality departments regarding NPI and Engineering Change Requests.
• Report supply chain performance metrics directly to the Global Head of Procurement.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering.
• Several years of professional experience in strategic procurement or supply chain management.
• Proven experience in a leadership or team lead role.
• Strong expertise in forecasting, material planning, and contract negotiation.
• Fluency in German and English is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, defense-related environment.
