What you will do

• Establish and maintain a positive safety culture across the project site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA 1910 and 1926 standards.
• Facilitate daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.
• Lead root cause analysis efforts for incidents and develop corrective/preventive action plans.
• Oversee the safe commissioning and transition from construction to operational status.
• Train operations personnel in hazard recognition, safe work practices, and emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Health and Safety management systems.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and 1910 standards.
• Demonstrated experience in construction and operational safety within industrial or energy infrastructure environments.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies and corrective action planning.
• Ability to work onsite in Abilene, TX.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or Industrial Technology.
• Professional certification such as Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST).
