What you will do

• Act as the physician-facing medical contact for ordering providers, applying clinical judgment to resolve complex questions and escalations.
• Provide medical leadership to internal teams supporting ordering physicians, translating clinical context into operational decisions.
• Lead development and optimization of physician onboarding and ordering workflows to ensure a seamless ordering experience.
• Identify and remove clinical and operational barriers affecting physician adoption, utilization, retention, and provider attrition.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Laboratory, and commercial teams to improve end-to-end clinical and operational processes.
• Analyze ordering patterns, operational metrics, and physician feedback to drive improvements in specimen quality, turnaround times, and ordering efficiency.

Requirements

• MD degree required; residency or additional post-graduate clinical training preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of physician workflows and clinical decision-making realities for ordering providers.
• Credibility to engage practicing physicians peer-to-peer and physician-to-physician.
• Demonstrated ability to improve healthcare delivery, operational efficiency, or physician experience.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyze complex operational challenges and develop scalable solutions.
