Software Engineer

Location: Medina, Minnesota, United States; onsite role. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $90,200–$112,800 per year, plus bonus or variable incentive pay.

What you will do

• Design and implement the Switch Order Management platform with an Agile development team.
• Develop reliable, performant, and fault-tolerant software based on requirements and user stories.
• Create unit tests and test automation tools to maintain code reliability.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, stakeholders, and other team members through design and code reviews.
• Investigate software malfunctions, isolate root causes, and implement solutions.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and mentor team members in areas of expertise.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software development or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with object-oriented programming, including Java, C++, C#, or Python.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks such as Angular.
• Experience with test-driven development, unit testing, databases, algorithms, and complex data structures.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, package managers, static code analysis, and user interface design.
