Full Stack Developer (Ruby/AWS)

Salary: $94,400–$198,200 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and test applications using modern engineering standards.
• Collaborate on system design and application architecture.
• Translate user requirements into technical requirements.
• Share operations and maintenance responsibilities and provide on-call support for mission systems.
• Investigate and implement innovative improvements to application development.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Five or more years of experience in software engineering, application development, or web application development and deployment.
• Five or more years of object-oriented programming experience with Python or Ruby and full-stack development with JavaScript, Vue, Node, Angular, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong Linux foundation and experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with Git, software design patterns, AWS infrastructure, RESTful services, Agile/Scrum, and configuration management.
• Relevant education, technical certifications, training, or equivalent work or military experience in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rails, Ruby, Rake, Cucumber, RSpec, Bootstrap, Material UI, Tailwind, AWS CLI/CDK/SDK, Apache Solr, SQL/DML/DDL, and Jenkins CI/CD automation.
