Salary: $105,000 - $155,000 per year

What you will do

• Serve as a technical subject matter expert for optical component fabrication processes.
• Develop and improve manufacturing documentation for optical components.
• Provide hands-on engineering support and train technicians on process execution.
• Monitor and drive production fabrication process and equipment improvements using SPC.
• Troubleshoot existing fabrication processes and manage non-conforming materials.
• Transfer optical fabrication technologies from R&D to production and qualify new equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or Optics.
• 10+ years of optical component fabrication experience (desirable).
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or other CAD software.
• Proficiency with SPC.
• Experience with optical alignment and bonding.
