Security Engineering Manager (Cloud Security)

What you will do

• Lead a high-seniority squad of software engineers, providing technical leadership, frequent feedback, and career development.
• Drive technical decisions on multi-cloud architecture using AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and IaC.
• Translate security strategy into a structured roadmap, balancing regulatory commitments and AI enablement.
• Ensure engineering excellence through code quality, observability, and root cause analysis of complex incidents.
• Manage squad financials, including tooling renewals, headcount, and contracts.

Requirements

• Engineering Manager experience leading a software/security squad, or strong staff-level background with readiness for people management.
• Hands-on proficiency in Golang, Clojure, or Python and experience reviewing IaC (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Deep working knowledge of AWS at scale (IAM, Organizations, Security Hub, Config).
• Experience designing preventive controls (SCPs, admission controllers) and remediation pipelines.
• English: Strong written and spoken communication required.
• Location: Must be based in Brazil (Belo Horizonte, Campinas, Rio de Janeiro, or Sao Paulo) to support the hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping internal security platforms, services, APIs, or CLIs.
• Prior exposure to CSPM/CNAPP platforms.
• Experience with regulatory compliance workstreams (PCI, ISO 27001).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes runtime security and embedding security into AI/ML infrastructure.
