What you will do

• Manage a team of 5-8 cloud engineers and architects, providing technical leadership and guidance.
• Interface with clients to propose technical improvements and lead technical discussions.
• Execute hands-on technical tasks within sprints, including code reviews and pull request management.
• Perform roadmap and vision checks, implement best practices, and identify technical risks.
• Oversee the technical delivery of client engagements and act as the primary point of technical escalation.
• Conduct technical interviews and provide career mentoring through weekly 1:1s.

Requirements

• Strong experience in the AWS data landscape.
• Expertise in at least two areas: Relational DBs, Big Data (Spark/Hadoop), ML/MLOps, Advanced Analytics, BI, or Data Governance.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in application modernization and database migration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be based in the USA; the company is unable to provide visa sponsorship.
