What you will do

• Define and execute the strategic vision for the Application Development, AI, and ML practice in alignment with AWS best practices.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of over 50 software engineers, architects, and consulting professionals.
• Oversee the execution of multi-million dollar customer engagements to ensure high-quality delivery and operational excellence.
• Champion the implementation of AI-powered tools to accelerate internal delivery and create customer value.
• Collaborate with partners like AWS and Anthropic to enhance service offerings and leverage latest technologies.
• Support pre-sales efforts and contribute to go-to-market strategies to drive revenue growth.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering and software development.
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably scaling an engineering practice in an AWS-focused services environment.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale, multi-million dollar software projects.
• Deep expertise in AWS services, architectures, software development patterns, and DevOps/IaC.
• Experience building, delivering, and using AI products and solutions.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the USA (no visa sponsorship available).

Nice to have

• AWS Certifications.
• Experience in consulting, professional services, or a product-focused SaaS company.
• Background in client-facing roles.
