Sr. Systems Engineer

Location: Mesa, Arizona; preferred locations also include Indianapolis, Phoenix, or Chicago

What you will do

• Implement and operate on-premises, private-cloud, public-cloud, and hybrid infrastructure, primarily in Microsoft Azure.
• Manage hyperconverged platforms, VMware environments, Cisco UCS, VxRail, storage, and networking.
• Design and deliver secure Azure and AWS cloud solutions, including monitoring, resource tagging, and cost optimization.
• Implement and test high-availability and disaster-recovery plans for multi-site and hot-hot architectures.
• Develop automation scripts and frameworks using PowerShell, DSC, CloudFormation, and Linux scripting.
• Lead incident management and provide technical support across engineering, quality assurance, management, vendors, and other support organizations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in data centers, private/public cloud, SAN, networking, and infrastructure operations.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server, with Linux knowledge and experience supporting Active Directory, DNS, and account management.
• Expertise with VMware data center technologies, including VxRail, vSphere, NSX, vROps, storage, and VM management.
• Experience with automation, systems management, multi-site architectures, high availability, disaster recovery, and on-call procedures.
• Experience working in SOX, SOC 2, ISO, and PCI-compliant multi-tenant environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, plus relevant data center or cloud certifications.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Tanium, Rubrik, Qumulo, NetApp, Zerto, and Windows or Linux patching.
• Experience assisting Software Engineering and Quality Assurance with deployment issues across infrastructure environments.
