Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 yearly

What you will do

• Own operational controllership processes for Sports, News, and Entertainment programming accounting.
• Coordinate with operational finance and legal teams to determine the timing of programming entries for monthly close.
• Review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and a clear audit trail.
• Ensure operational and design effectiveness of internal controls to maintain SOX compliance.
• Perform financial statement reviews for Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flows to explain fluctuations.
• Mentor and develop staff by assigning accountabilities and monitoring results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance equivalent.
• CPA certification required.
• 4+ years of relevant accountant or finance experience.
• Knowledge of general accounting practices, financial standards, and internal controls.
• Experience managing and coaching staff.
• Experience working with internal and external auditors.
