Senior Accountant (Media)

Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 yearly

What you will do

• Perform month-end and quarter-end accounting close in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Support the Media Group finance team with annual budgets and operational reviews.
• Partner with FP&A, treasury, tax, and legal departments to improve business processes.
• Assist in the transition to the SAP S/4 platform and document SOX controls.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly balance sheet variance analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 2+ years of accounting experience (public accounting preferred).
• CPA license or currently on track to obtain one.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Must be based in New York and able to work from the office at least 4 days per week.
