What you will do

• Lead monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare data for internal and external reporting and coordinate with auditors.
• Drive process standardization and internal control improvements in accordance with GAAP.
• Collaborate on corporate initiatives, including the transition to the SAP S/4 platform.
• Maintain SOX documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytical support to finance leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 4+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Must be able to work from the New York office 4 days per week.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• CPA license.
• Experience in the entertainment industry.
• Prior experience with large ERP systems like SAP.
