Location: Must be based in the US, live within 30 miles of New York City, and possess a valid US driver's license. On-site presence is required up to four days a week.

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000

What you will do

• Lead professional learning around hirify.global Caminos and mCLASS Lectura for educators and administrators.
• Provide on-site coaching (up to 4 days/week) to enhance literacy instruction and program implementation.
• Facilitate large-scale training sessions for groups of up to 150 teachers and leaders.
• Analyze assessment and implementation data to set goals and provide targeted instructional feedback.
• Collaborate with district leadership to align coaching strategies with NYCPS goals and priorities.
• Develop custom professional development resources, including slide decks, videos, and online courses.

Requirements

• Fluent in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing) with the ability to deliver training in Spanish.
• US residency and a valid US driver's license are mandatory.
• 7+ years of K-5 classroom literacy teaching experience with demonstrable results.
• 3+ years of experience leading sustained coaching engagements and professional development for K-5 educators.
• Experience working in dual language or bilingual educational settings in both English and Spanish.
• Expertise in teaching foundational skills aligned with the Science of Reading.

Nice to have

• Experience using or supporting hirify.global Caminos, CKLA, mCLASS, or Boost/Boost Lectura.
• Master’s or advanced degree in education.
• Ability to support teachers in a remote learning environment.
• Proficiency with various Learning Management Systems (Schoology, Clever, Google Classroom).
