TL;DR
Account Manager (Fintech): Managing core customer relationships and driving expansion and renewals for a financial data platform with an accent on sales strategy and client satisfaction. Focus on identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts, building relationships with decision-makers, and executing consultative product demonstrations.
Location: Must be based in New York, NY, United States. This role is onsite 5 days a week.
Salary: $115,500 base + $45,000 target variable commission.

What you will do
- Manage a dedicated portfolio of core clients to achieve quarterly sales and retention goals.
- Identify and execute growth opportunities to expand the user base within existing accounts.
- Develop long-term account strategies and execution plans to increase engagement over a multi-year horizon.
- Conduct consultative product demonstrations to highlight how the platform addresses specific client needs.
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to strategize on account retention and growth.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle and pipeline using Salesforce, Catalyst, and Tableau.
Requirements
- 2+ years of sales or account management experience.
- Proven ability to close complex deals and manage the end-to-end sales process.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM for forecasting and client interaction records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
