TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (Paris, France) — 3 days remote per week
Salary: EUR 65,000 - 75,000 yearly

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that power AI-driven features.
- Build robust Python applications to integrate AI models and services into production environments.
- Work with a primarily Python stack and legacy PHP systems in monolithic and microservice architectures.
- Solve technical challenges related to video processing, content management, and platform scalability.
- Produce comprehensive technical specifications to facilitate collaboration across engineering teams.
- Champion engineering best practices including testing, documentation, and observability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience with production-scale systems.
- Mastery of Python and willingness to work with legacy PHP codebases.
- Strong fundamentals in APIs, databases, caching, queuing, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Docker.
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and modern development workflows.
- English: Mandatory (daily working language)
Nice to have
- Experience using AI tools like Copilot or ChatGPT for prototyping and debugging.
- Previous experience working in a startup or product company environment.
