What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that power AI-driven features.
• Build robust Python applications to integrate AI models and services into production environments.
• Work with a primarily Python stack and legacy PHP systems in monolithic and microservice architectures.
• Solve technical challenges related to video processing, content management, and platform scalability.
• Produce comprehensive technical specifications to facilitate collaboration across engineering teams.
• Champion engineering best practices including testing, documentation, and observability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience with production-scale systems.
• Mastery of Python and willingness to work with legacy PHP codebases.
• Strong fundamentals in APIs, databases, caching, queuing, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Docker.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and modern development workflows.
• English: Mandatory (daily working language)

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools like Copilot or ChatGPT for prototyping and debugging.
• Previous experience working in a startup or product company environment.
