What you will do

• Identify and qualify federal, provincial, and municipal funding opportunities aligned with company capabilities.
• Drive the full proposal lifecycle from concept note and narrative development to final submission.
• Collaborate with technical leads to extract problem statements and technical approaches for grant narratives.
• Structure proposals to meet specific funder requirements regarding objectives, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Maintain a library of boilerplate content to improve proposal speed and consistency.
• Provide strategic opportunity briefs to leadership and support post-award reporting and compliance.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in grant writing, proposal development, or technical writing for complex programs.
• Proven track record of contributing to successful proposals in innovation, defense, or economic development.
• Eligibility for Government of Canada security clearance (Secret or higher) is mandatory.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and analytical skills with the ability to translate technical data into persuasive narratives.
• Strong project management capabilities to handle multiple concurrent deadlines and stakeholder inputs.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is considered a strong asset.
