What you will do

• Define end-to-end satellite communication service architectures.
• Translate mission and service requirements into system and payload-level specifications.
• Perform system-level performance analyses and support engineering trade-off studies.
• Define interfaces between payloads, spacecraft platforms, ground segments, and mission control systems.
• Collaborate with payload manufacturers, equipment suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Support integration, verification, validation, and testing (IVV&T) activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in satellite communications, payload engineering, or space systems engineering.
• Strong knowledge of satellite payload architectures and communication systems.
• Proficiency with performance analysis and modelling tools such as MATLAB and Python.
• Experience applying system engineering methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.
• Ability to work within complex, international, multi-stakeholder space programmes.

Nice to have

• Experience working in regulated or institutional space environments.
• NATO security clearance eligibility.
