Salary: $107,000–$179,000 annually.

What you will do
- Serve as the technical interface between imaging payloads and spacecraft buses to ensure joint performance optimization.
- Lead system-level trade studies to evaluate design alternatives and technology insertion opportunities.
- Assess and troubleshoot payload and bus designs at the circuit level.
- Support radiation analysis and guide EEE parts selection for space environments.
- Perform signal and power integrity analyses in adherence to space-qualified standards.
- Contribute to design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and maintain electrical interface control documentation.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by export control laws.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience with space-based optical remote sensing payloads, specifically LEO missions.
- Proven experience in electrical systems engineering for space platforms and radiation effects.
- Ability to analyze schematics, block diagrams, and PCB layouts.
Nice to have
- Master’s or PhD in Electrical or Systems Engineering.
- Experience with modeling tools like MATLAB, STK, SPICE, or HFSS.
- Familiarity with imaging payloads and performance metrics (SNR, MTF).
- Knowledge of space industry standards (NASA GSFC, JPL, ECSS, MIL-STD).
