hirify.global is building an automated lab infrastructure that allows AI agents to autonomously design and run biology experiments.

What you will do

  • Own the full customer lifecycle, including prospecting, technical sales conversations, deal closing, and onboarding.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact, recommending specific experiments based on protein engineering goals (binding, expression, thermostability).
  • Collaborate with the internal biology team to troubleshoot experimental results and ensure clear communication to clients.
  • Build and maintain a commercial pipeline targeting AI protein design companies, biotech startups, and pharma R&D teams.
  • Develop tailored proposals and quotes for projects ranging from small pilot experiments to large-scale data generation campaigns.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, engaging in deep technical discussions with PhD-level engineers and CSOs.

Requirements

  • Scientific background in protein engineering, biochemistry, biophysics, or a related field.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as a Field Application Scientist or Scientific Account Manager.
  • Fluency in discussing binding kinetics (KD, kon, koff), expression systems, and assay design.
  • Strong commercial drive with a focus on revenue growth and pipeline management.
  • Ability to adapt communication style between technical scientists and business executives.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with CROs or biotech vendors.
  • Genuine interest in and knowledge of the AI-driven protein design field.
