What you will do

• Act as the primary contact for customers to support electric service orders and resolve issues against SLAs.
• Validate and process non-utility billing and Cost in Advance of Construction (CIAC) per applicable tariffs.
• Create design and cost estimates for simple electric service work to facilitate construction.
• Process electric service request contracts and agreements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure the fulfillment of customer requests.
• Provide team lead support to implement process improvements and share best practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Johnston, RI.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience OR High School diploma with 9+ years of experience in customer-facing electric/gas, design, or construction roles.
• Alternatively, 7+ years of general customer service experience.
• Solid understanding of RI Energy’s electric or gas business and policies.
• Proficiency in software required for data entry.
