What you will do

  • Conduct prompt, accurate investigations of liability claims and interview relevant parties to establish facts.
  • Analyze claim exposures, determine coverage, and set proper reserves.
  • Develop and execute settlement, litigation, and defense strategies in collaboration with attorneys.
  • Identify and handle risk transfer and subrogation opportunities.
  • Prepare for and lead mediations, arbitrations, and trials alongside defense counsel.
  • Communicate claim activity and status reports effectively to clients.

Requirements

  • Active Florida All-Lines Adjuster License (5-20 or 6-20) required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience handling complex liability claims and subrogation.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable statutes, industry standards, and claims practices.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, litigated, and high-severity claims.
  • Ability to travel for mediations and client meetings as necessary.
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
