Salary: $78,000 – $107,250

What you will do

• Confirm claim coverage by reviewing policies and relevant documentation.
• Direct and monitor investigations, including assignments to experts and outside counsel.
• Negotiate and settle claims, including those in litigation, within established authority.
• Present cases at roundtables to senior leadership and underwriters.
• Serve as a technical resource for underwriting and assist in drafting policy wording.
• Provide training, guidance, and coaching to other team members.

Requirements

• US Work Authorization required (no sponsorship provided).
• Minimum of 5 years of claims handling experience.
• Knowledge of tort and contract law.
• Strong litigation management skills and experience in negotiation and mediation.
• Must have or be eligible to receive a claims adjuster license.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
