Salary: $140,000–$170,000

What you will do
- Handle high-severity primary Professional Lines claims including Miscellaneous Professional Liability, A&E, Allied Health, and Media.
- Manage all aspects of the claims and litigation process, including liaising with external legal counsel and internal underwriting teams.
- Draft complex technical coverage analysis and letters for high-severity matters.
- Identify and investigate suspected fraudulent claims in coordination with the special investigations unit.
- Mentor team members and provide formalized training on claims handling and litigation best practices.
- Identify emerging exposures and claim trends to provide solutions for the organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Professional Liability and/or Specialty claims handling experience.
- B.A./B.S. degree required; JD from an ABA accredited law school is considered a supplement.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity with 2 days per week in office.
- Adjuster licensing required or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Expert knowledge of coverage, litigation processes, and negotiation strategies.
- Proven track record of mentoring and training others.
