What you will do

• Lead and supervise a team of Spacecraft Operations Support Engineers in a 24x7 mission environment.
• Manage workforce scheduling, shift coverage, and staffing readiness to ensure continuous mission support.
• Establish team priorities, performance expectations, and training objectives aligned with organizational goals.
• Coordinate anomaly response activities and operational issue resolution across engineering and operations stakeholders.
• Monitor team performance metrics and identify opportunities for process efficiency and operational effectiveness.
• Conduct personnel management tasks including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluations.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in mission operations or a related technical operational environment.
• 2+ years of leadership experience supervising technical professionals.
• Must be able to work on-site in Longmont, Colorado for 24x7 mission-critical operations.

Nice to have

• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• Experience with satellite operations, ground systems, or space systems support.
• Experience supporting classified operations in secure environments.
