Field Solutions Engineer, Enablement (Aerospace)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must currently live in an eligible US state. Travel to conferences and customer sites may be required up to 50%.

Salary: $135,000–$180,000 annually, plus equity and benefits, depending on level and experience.

What you will do

• Plan, develop, and deliver virtual and onsite training programs for new and existing customers.
• Design role-based learning paths and curriculum for design engineers, simulation analysts, and other customer personas.
• Build tutorials, how-to guides, workflow walkthroughs, videos, and self-service learning materials.
• Translate complex engineering software capabilities into clear content for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Partner with Product, Customer Success, Account Executives, and Marketing to align enablement materials with product releases and go-to-market initiatives.
• Collect customer feedback, identify knowledge gaps and workflow friction, and contribute to webinars, workshops, and product education campaigns.

Requirements

• Current or recent experience in aircraft conceptual or preliminary design, aerostructures, propulsion integration, vehicle-level sizing, tradeoff studies, or MDO.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline, plus 3+ years of industry experience; relevant doctoral degrees may substitute for the experience requirement.
• Experience scripting with Python and Excel/VBA, with the ability to learn technical software quickly.
• Experience developing or delivering professional training, documentation, or educational content.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences and present to large audiences and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work remotely from an eligible US state and travel to conferences and customer sites up to 50%.

Nice to have

• Experience with nTop, parametric modeling, 3D CAD, FEA, CFD, design optimization, surrogate modeling, or AI/ML for inverse design.
• Experience with Abaqus, Ansys, Fluent/CFX, Nastran, Star-CCM+, or LS-DYNA.
• Project management experience, security clearance, and experience with conceptual design or MDO in aerospace engineering.
• Experience with conference presentations, training workshops, public speaking, or SaaS go-to-market processes.
