Production Supervisor (Aerospace)

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 Annually

What you will do

• Supervise a team of 18-20 machinists, managing hiring, training, talent development, and performance improvement.
• Lead daily operations to ensure delivery, quality, efficiency, and budget goals are met for the 2nd shift value stream.
• Identify and implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities to achieve high-impact results.
• Coordinate with support groups to maximize the utilization and efficiency of personnel and equipment.
• Handle all employee relations, including counseling, discipline, and performance feedback.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure accurate employee time reporting.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Torrance, CA.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of experience or Associate's degree with 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing shop floor environment.
• Proven supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and knowledge of GD&T.
• Strong professional experience working in a Machine Shop.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Associate's Degree in Engineering or Business.
• Experience running and supervising CNC machinists.
• Knowledge of Gear Cutting.
• Previous experience in the Aerospace industry.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
