What you will do

• Solve operational orbital mechanics problems and process data for orbit states and predictions.
• Analyze space object tracking sensors and networks to enable customer situational awareness.
• Perform conjunction assessment, proximity operations, and technical orbit analysis.
• Integrate findings across functional areas to develop and deliver orbital products.
• Participate in crew work requiring hours outside of normal business operations.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• 2+ years of experience in Space Situational Awareness (SSA), satellite catalog maintenance, and collision avoidance.
• In-depth knowledge of orbital mechanics and astrodynamics.
• Familiarity with Linux-based OS, specifically Red Hat or Fedora.
• Experience with Space Force’s Astrodynamics Support Workstation or similar tools.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Technical degree in Aerospace Engineering, Space Operations, or Physics.
• Experience in orbital or space science data and non-regular data message management.
• Ability to create scripts in Perl or other languages to automate data processing.
